Strengthening its leadership team in India, The Heineken Company has appointed Pradeep Gupta as Head of Legal & Compliance for its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad.
In his new role, Gupta will oversee Legal, Compliance, Corporate Secretarial, Privacy, and Risk Management functions at the Heineken GCC. His mandate covers building strong governance frameworks while supporting business growth in a complex regulatory environment.
Gupta brings close to 20 years of experience across legal advisory, compliance management, corporate secretarial practices, privacy, employment laws, and investigations. He has worked extensively in regulated and high-compliance environments, combining technical depth with a clear business focus.
An alumnus of the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Gupta is also a member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. His academic background and professional credentials have shaped a career focused on risk-aware decision-making and value protection.
Before joining Heineken, Gupta spent nearly a decade with DBS Tech. During his tenure, he served as Company Secretary and Head of Legal & Compliance, where he handled a wide range of legal and regulatory responsibilities and supported organizational growth initiatives.
At Heineken’s GCC, Gupta is expected to play a key role in aligning legal and compliance functions with the company’s global standards, while enabling efficient operations from its Hyderabad hub. His leadership approach emphasizes strong controls, ethical practices, and practical legal solutions that support long-term objectives.
This appointment reflects Heineken’s continued focus on strengthening governance and compliance capabilities within its global operations, with India playing a central role in its delivery model.
