Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Sandeep will focus on strengthening group employee benefits relationships while driving new business growth. His expanded role reflects his growing responsibility in managing enterprise clients and navigating a competitive and evolving insurance market.
Sandeep has spent close to 3 years at HDFC Life in the Group Employee Benefits business. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager, Group Employee Benefits, where he managed large and named corporate clients. His responsibilities included driving business through existing relationships and leading new client acquisition efforts. His strengths in account management, consultative selling, and business development have supported his transition into a broader regional leadership role.
Before joining HDFC Life, Sandeep worked for around 2 years at AuthBridge as Manager, Enterprise Sales and Account Management in Mumbai. There, he handled enterprise sales and key accounts in a high growth environment, gaining experience in complex B2B engagements, negotiation, and client relationship management.
Earlier, Sandeep spent over 5 years with Zeta Suite and later Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services in Mumbai. He began as Senior Key Account Specialist at Zeta Suite and later moved into the role of Sales Manager following the merger with Sodexo. During this period, he worked closely with digital tax benefit and SaaS based employee benefits solutions, including Zeta Optima, helping organisations manage employee benefits through unified digital platforms.
Sandeep’s early career included roles in business development and corporate sales at Mahindra Integrated Business Solutions Private Limited and a credit rating agency in Mumbai. His formative experience also includes assignments at Mint International, Rave Technologies, Kapoor and Parekh Associates Chartered Accountants, and a summer internship at Hindalco Industries Limited. He holds an MBA in Marketing from IES’s Management College and Research Centre.
