HCLTech, a global technology company, has significantly expanded its partnership with The Standard, a prominent provider of financial protection services. This extended collaboration aims to accelerate The Standard’s digital transformation through advanced AI-driven infrastructure and application services.
The deepened partnership is set to enhance efficiency, facilitate rapid growth, and elevate customer experience, aligning with The Standard’s long-term vision of transitioning to an IT products and services-based operating model.
A core focus of this collaboration will be the implementation of HCLTech’s GenAI-led platform, AI Force, alongside comprehensive digital engineering and cloud services. These initiatives are designed to improve customer service within The Standard’s workplace benefits offerings. To further support this transformation, a new Joint Innovation Council and a Digital Experience Office have been established.
Laxman Prakash, Chief Information Security Officer at The Standard, expressed confidence in the expanded partnership. “The Standard’s growth journey has accelerated in recent years through digital transformation and acquisitions, and HCLTech has proven to be the best partner to help us scale efficiently and seamlessly with its digital-first and customer-focused approach,” Prakash stated.
Echoing this sentiment, Anubhav Mehrotra, Senior Vice President at HCLTech, commented, “We are excited about this extended partnership with The Standard, showcasing our deep commitment to the insurance sector.”
In related news, HCLTech previously partnered with UiPath, a global automation company, to help businesses worldwide automate operations using AI. HCLTech will leverage the UiPath Platform to assist companies in automating various functions, including finance, supply chain, procurement, customer service, marketing, and human resources.
As part of the UiPath partnership, HCLTech will also provide ready-to-use AI tools to simplify the initiation and scaling of automation efforts.
