HCLTech joins hands with Carahsoft to drive AI-led digital shift in US public sector

Amid growing pressure on government agencies to modernise digital systems, HCLTech has announced a strategic partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp to expand the use of AI-driven transformation solutions across the United States public sector.

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as HCLTech’s public sector distributor. This will allow HCLTech’s platforms and services to reach federal, state, local, and education agencies through Carahsoft’s wide reseller network and established government procurement channels.

The collaboration is designed to make it easier for public sector bodies to access HCLTech’s offerings. These include AI-driven platforms, cloud-native application modernisation, cybersecurity services, and constituent-focused digital solutions. By using Carahsoft’s experience in public sector procurement, HCLTech aims to help agencies upgrade legacy systems, improve service delivery, and strengthen security at scale.

Explaining the focus of the partnership, Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, said, “Our goal through this partnership is to make HCLTech’s Al Force accessible to the public sector and to ensure deployment at the speed and scale agencies require to enhance constituent services, strengthen cybersecurity posture and improve operational efficiency.”

Arjun Sethi, chief growth officer and president of HCLTech Public Sector Solutions, highlighted the urgency of adoption, stating, “Public sector organisations face ever increasing demands, such as enhancing constituent services, accelerating mission delivery, securing sensitive data and leveraging emerging technologies, including GenAl.”

The announcement comes at a time when government agencies worldwide are seeking to modernise IT infrastructure while managing regulatory requirements, data protection needs, and budget limitations. Through this partnership, HCLTech and Carahsoft aim to support faster deployment of advanced AI and automation to improve citizen engagement and operational resilience.

Separately, HCLTech has also expanded its global footprint through a new engagement with Team Global Express, the largest multimodal logistics organisation in Australia and New Zealand. This partnership focuses on consolidating a complex, multi-vendor IT setup into a single strategic engagement, with HCLTech’s Al Force driving automation, compliance, and enhanced customer experience.

Commenting on the engagement, Danny Gravell, chief innovation officer at Team Global Express, said, “HCLTech’s deep domain expertise, innovative approach and commitment to operational excellence will play a vital role in modernising our IT landscape.” Sonia Eland, executive vice president and country manager for Australia and New Zealand at HCLTech, added, “Our comprehensive suite of solutions, powered by advanced Al and automation, will enable Team Global Express to accelerate transformation, enhance customer experience and drive long term value creation.”

Together, these moves reflect HCLTech’s broader strategy to combine AI-led platforms with strong partnerships to deliver large-scale digital transformation across public sector and enterprise markets worldwide.
