Hero MotoCorp has announced a major leadership change at the top as it looks to strengthen its long term growth strategy.
In his new role, Harshavardhan will lead the company’s overall strategy, drive business growth, and strengthen its position across domestic and global markets. The appointment marks an important transition for India’s leading two wheeler manufacturer.
Before joining Hero MotoCorp, Harshavardhan served as Chief Executive Officer Professional Business at Signify. In this role, he led the company’s global professional lighting business, which reported annual revenues of around €4 billion. He was also a Member of the Board of Management at Signify N.V.
His career spans several decades and includes senior leadership roles across technology, manufacturing, and global operations. Harshavardhan has previously held key positions at HCL Enterprise, Honeywell, and Tata Administrative Services.
With his wide ranging experience across global businesses and large scale operations, Harshavardhan is expected to play a key role in shaping Hero MotoCorp’s future direction and strengthening its competitive position in a rapidly evolving mobility landscape.
