Gurugram Emerges as a Key Hub for Global Capability Centres with Upcoming GCC Policy 2025

Gurugram, widely recognised as the economic capital of Haryana, is rapidly establishing itself as a leading hub for Global Capability Centres. Haryana’s Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that investors are increasingly choosing Gurugram because of its strong infrastructure, excellent connectivity, and industry-friendly policies.

Government’s Commitment to GCC Growth
Speaking at a stakeholder consultation meeting on the upcoming GCC Policy 2025, Minister Singh underlined the state government’s commitment to creating a progressive and supportive business environment. He highlighted that the government’s role is to facilitate and not restrict investors, that industries are the main pillars of Haryana’s growth, and that the state is striving to provide timely support and modern facilities for entrepreneurs and investors.

Talent Development and Investor Support
The new GCC Policy 2025 aims to make Haryana a preferred destination for both global and domestic investors. It includes a mix of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, along with dedicated relationship managers and specialized teams offering end-to-end support. The policy also focuses on building a business-friendly ecosystem. According to Dr Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, the policy ensures maximum convenience and support for investors entering the state.

Gurugram’s Added Advantages
Gurugram’s appeal extends beyond policy measures. Several initiatives are strengthening its position as a business hub:

  • Infrastructure Development: The city is preparing for the launch of the world’s largest Jungle Safari, which is expected to enhance tourism and investment potential.

  • Connectivity: Continuous improvements in road, metro, and air connectivity make Gurugram one of the best-connected business destinations in India.

  • Business Ecosystem: The presence of multinational companies, IT hubs, and financial institutions provides a mature environment for GCC expansion.

Conclusion

With the upcoming GCC Policy 2025, a focus on ease of doing business, and large-scale infrastructure projects, Gurugram is set to become one of India’s most attractive destinations for Global Capability Centres. The city is expected to play a major role in strengthening Haryana’s position as a hub for global investment and innovation.
