Google has announced a partnership with Indian re-commerce platform Cashify to introduce the Authorised Refurbished Phone Sale programme, making certified refurbished Pixel smartphones more accessible to Indian consumers. Under the initiative, Cashify will serve as an authorised reseller, offering earlier models such as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro at more affordable prices compared to their original retail cost.
Prem Pandian, global head of strategic initiatives and partnerships at Google Hardware, said, “Our collaboration with Cashify is a significant step in making the premium Pixel experience more accessible in India, while also advancing our commitment to a circular economy. This Trusted Reseller programme is designed to meet the robust demand from Indian consumers for premium devices at an accessible price point. Cashify’s expertise provides a trusted, quality-assured path for owning a Pixel, giving our customers peace of mind.”
According to Google, each refurbished Pixel will undergo rigorous quality checks to ensure the device is restored to a “like-new” condition using only genuine Pixel parts. The devices will be packaged in new boxes and come with compatible chargers, along with a one-year limited warranty.
The refurbished Pixel smartphones will be available across 18,000 pin codes in India through both online and offline channels. Sales will begin from September 3 on the Cashify app, website and select retail outlets.
