Google Cloud partners with A.R. Rahman’s Secret Mountain to redefine AI-powered music experiences

Google Cloud has partnered with Secret Mountain, the metahuman digital avatar band created by Oscar and Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman, to explore a new era of interactive and AI-driven entertainment. The collaboration combines Google Cloud’s advanced infrastructure and AI capabilities to merge music, storytelling, and technology in an innovative way.

Secret Mountain features six distinctive digital avatars, including Cara, an Irish singer-songwriter; Zen Tam, a Tamil rapper; and Blessing, an African percussionist and vocalist. With the support of Google Cloud technologies such as Veo 3, Imagen, Gemini Flash 2.5 Image, and Gemini 2.5 Pro, these avatars can engage with fans in real time, respond dynamically, and deliver immersive musical experiences to audiences around the world.

A.R. Rahman said, “Secret Mountain is about reimagining how music, storytelling, and technology come together to create new experiences for audiences all over the world.”

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, shared, “India is showing how to fuse world-class artistry with production-ready AI, and this collaboration with A.R. Rahman is setting a new bar for the industry.”

The partnership represents a milestone in the evolution of AI in entertainment, showcasing how creative expression and advanced technology can work together to shape the future of global music and audience engagement.
