AMS launches GCC Flex hiring platform to support India’s growing GCC talent demand

As Global Capability Centers (GCCs) continue to expand across India, companies are increasingly focusing on structured and scalable hiring systems. Workforce solutions firm AMS has introduced a new hiring platform called GCC Flex, designed specifically to support recruitment needs for India-based GCCs.

India is witnessing strong growth in GCC investments across major technology hubs such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune, as well as emerging Tier-2 cities. With more than 100 new mid-sized GCCs expected to be set up each year, organisations are facing intense competition for talent in areas such as digital technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and risk management. As a result, hiring is evolving from a support function into a core operational priority.

Roop Kaistha, Regional Managing Director, APAC at AMS, said, “India’s GCCs are playing an increasingly strategic role in global capability strategy. With rising competition for digital and risk talent, speed alone is insufficient. Hiring requires disciplined processes, measurable outcomes and strong governance oversight. GCC Flex provides a structured operating model that strengthens conversion, improves predictability and supports sustained scale aligned to business priorities. It equips leadership teams with the clarity and control needed to build resilient talent foundations for long-term growth.”

Many GCCs in India are expanding their mandates into areas such as product ownership, analytics, shared services and innovation. This expansion has created structural hiring pressures across the market. In Bengaluru, which remains the largest GCC talent hub, compensation premiums are reported to be 8-10% higher than broader market benchmarks. Meanwhile, Hyderabad has recorded 42% year-on-year growth in GCC hiring requisitions along with a 6-8% pay premium.

As hiring demand spreads to cities like Pune and Tier-2 markets, organisations are also focusing on location strategies and faster hiring cycles. However, several GCCs still face challenges such as long interview cycles, inconsistent market benchmarking and limited visibility across recruitment pipelines.

GCC Flex aims to address these issues by combining embedded consulting, specialist hiring teams and AI-powered workflows through the AMS One platform into a unified hiring framework. The system introduces defined service levels, outcome-based pricing and clear hiring cycle accountability.

The platform is designed to improve hiring cycle times by at least 30%, with a targeted sub-30-day time-to-hire for critical roles and over 85% offer acceptance rates. It also uses pre-built talent communities and data-driven analytics to improve hiring outcomes and reduce early-stage employee attrition.

AMS currently facilitates more than 35,000 hires annually across the market, with a strong emphasis on early careers and campus recruitment programs.
