Gaurav brings over 25 years of experience in financial leadership across multinational corporations, technology ventures, and high-growth startups in the SaaS, IT, and EdTech sectors. His professional journey includes senior roles at KPMG, Aricent, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Knowlarity Communications, and Adda Education. He has been recognised for leading business turnarounds and driving financial transformation initiatives.
In a statement, Gaurav said his focus as CFO will be to “build a strong financial backbone that supports scale and drives long-term value for all stakeholders.” Gaurav added that PeopleStrong’s “strong product and market momentum” positions it to accelerate growth in global markets.
Sandeep Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer of PeopleStrong, welcomed Gaurav, calling it “timely” as the company expands its AI-led HCM platform internationally. “His deep expertise in financial strategy will be invaluable as we strengthen our foundation and accelerate our growth agenda,” Chaudhary said.
PeopleStrong’s platform serves more than 500 enterprises and over two million users, processing 1.75 million paychecks every month. The company has featured in Gartner’s Voice of the Customer report and has been recognised as a Customers’ Choice for Cloud HCM Suites for enterprises with over 1,000 employees from 2022 to 2025.
This appointment follows a series of senior leadership additions at PeopleStrong, including Dr Dinesh Kumar Khara as Chairman of the Board, underscoring the company’s focus on strengthening its leadership team as it enters a new phase of global expansion.
