Licious, a meat merchant, has changed its leadership. Since Ajit Narayanan, Licious’s incumbent CPTO, moved on, the business has named Gaurav Mathur as its new CTO. In their Saturday LinkedIn posts, Mathur and Narayanan made the same announcement.
In his LinkedIn post, Narayanan, who has worked for the company since October 2022, expressed gratitude to the organization’s founders, saying, “Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta — thank you for the trust in me. Thank you for backing a long-term, tech-first approach in a category that desperately needed one. Your support made all the difference.”
Mathur, who replaces Narayanan, was formerly HealthPlix’s chief of software engineering.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Mathur said, “As a passionate believer in the power of technology to shape industries and elevate everyday experiences, I’m excited to be part of a mission-driven team that’s redefining the way India consumes meat and seafood. Licious has always stood for trust, quality, and innovation — and I’m humbled to contribute to this next phase of transformation.”
Bhakti Shirke was hired by the organization last week as the director of talent acquisition.
