In a move to modernise in-flight shopping, gateretail has partnered with JK Tech to introduce an advanced AI-powered platform for airlines. The collaboration aims to improve how onboard retail operations are managed using intelligent automation and data insights.
The upgraded platform is powered by JK Tech’s JIVA Agentic AI. It is designed to help airlines better predict passenger demand, optimise pricing, and automate ordering processes. The system also addresses key challenges such as fluctuating demand and tight profit margins in the aviation sector.
By combining gateretail’s industry expertise with JK Tech’s technology capabilities, the platform is expected to increase revenue per flight. It will also help reduce waste and stock shortages while enabling airlines to make faster decisions through real-time insights.
Jose Lirio Silva from gateretail said the solution will improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency. JK Tech’s Tanuj Singh highlighted that the platform could significantly enhance profitability for airlines by using AI-driven insights.
