Freenome, a biotech firm specializing in early cancer detection, has appointed Linh H. Le as its new CFO. With over 20 years of experience in finance and operations within diagnostics and Medtech, Linh has worked with companies like Ambry Genetics, Medtronic, and Predicine. At Freenome, he will manage financial strategy and operations to aid the company’s growth.
“Linh has a proven track record of building the financial and operational foundations required to scale and sustain innovation,” said Aaron Elliott, Ph.D., chief executive officer of Freenome. “He has led large-scale transformations, improved enterprise performance, and brings a focused, results-oriented approach that will help us execute with precision and purpose. I’m thrilled to welcome him to Freenome’s leadership team.”
Before Freenome, Linh was CFO at Predicine, where he established a top-tier revenue cycle management system and expanded into various U.S. markets. He also served as COO at Ambry Genetics, driving significant growth and scalability. Earlier, Linh spent 14 years at Medtronic Diabetes as CFO for the insulin management unit, overseeing operations in North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. He started his career at KPMG and PwC, later taking leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company and Fox. Linh is a CPA, holds a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University, Northridge, and completed executive education at Wharton. He was recognized as CFO of the Year by the Los Angeles Times in 2022.
