The full context remains available, and users can still refer back to earlier messages.
According to the developer, ChatGPT LightSession works entirely on the user’s device. The data “doesn’t go to any external servers” and the developer does not “collect analytics or telemetry.” Even so, users should always review permissions carefully before installing any browser extension because such tools can read or modify web content.
