Food Square, a premium grocery brand known for its globally sourced and thoughtfully curated products, has announced the appointment of Bhavana Singh as its new Chief Marketing Officer. The announcement comes as the brand prepares for a major nationwide rollout, scaling beyond its two flagship stores in Mumbai to several new locations across India in the coming year.
With Indian consumers increasingly drawn to high-quality staples, global flavours, and experiential retail, Food Square is positioning itself at the intersection of quality, cultural discovery, and everyday convenience. The company aims to redefine the grocery shopping experience by offering a blend of inspiration and accessibility.
Bhavana Singh brings over 15 years of diverse experience across India and the United States, spanning industries such as fashion, food, wellness, and lifestyle. Most recently, she led marketing at a custom fashion brand, where she established the marketing function, built creative teams, and used content-driven strategies to boost brand visibility and revenue.
Earlier in her career, Singh held leadership roles at global communication firms in India and the US. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Baruch College, City University of New York.
At Food Square, she will lead the brand’s marketing and growth strategy, focusing on building a culturally relevant and commercially successful marketing ecosystem.
