Fei-Fei Li’s World Labs launches Marble generative world model

World Labs, the startup founded by Fei-Fei Li, has officially launched its generative world model, Marble, making it publicly accessible after a two-month beta phase with selected users.

According to the company, “Marble can create 3D worlds from text, images, video, or coarse 3D layouts,” enabling users to interactively edit or expand their creations. This launch marks a significant step in the evolution of generative AI and spatial computing.

Alongside the public release, World Labs introduced Marble Labs, a dedicated workspace for creators to explore workflows, case studies, and documentation. “It is where artists, engineers, and designers push the boundaries of world models,” the company stated.

Marble supports text-to-world and image-to-world generation and allows users to input multiple images or videos, providing greater control over scene design and composition.

The company also unveiled Chisel, an experimental 3D sculpting mode that “decouples structure from style,” enabling users to create coarse layouts that can be styled through prompts. With advanced export options and AI-native editing tools, Marble positions itself as a powerful step towards achieving broader spatial intelligence.

World Labs added, “Future world models will let humans and agents alike interact with generated worlds in new ways,” reflecting the company’s vision of expanding the boundaries of human–AI collaboration in immersive digital environments.
