Stepping beyond electric mobility, Faraday Future has unveiled its first lineup of embodied AI robots, signalling a major expansion of its technology roadmap.
At the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show in Las Vegas on Wednesday, the Los Angeles-based company introduced 3 new robot series designed to support professional, consumer, and security use cases. This marks Faraday Future’s first public launch of its multipurpose AI-powered robotics portfolio. The company confirmed that sales and pre-orders began immediately, with initial deliveries planned by the end of February.
In an official announcement, Faraday Future revealed 3 product families: FF Futurist, FF Master, and FX Aegis. The FF Futurist and FF Master are humanoid robots built for different interaction needs, while FX Aegis is a quadruped robot focused on security, utility, and companionship.
The FF Futurist series is positioned as a professional humanoid platform, with prices starting at $34,990, along with an optional $5,000 ecosystem skill package. The FF Master series, designed for everyday assistance and interaction, starts at $19,990 with an optional $3,000 ecosystem package. The FX Aegis quadruped robots are priced from $2,499, with an optional $1,000 ecosystem add-on.
All 3 robot series are built on a shared compute architecture that combines high-performance chipsets with dedicated AI accelerators for perception and reasoning. The flagship FF Futurist uses a quad-core ARM Cortex-A78 CPU paired with an AI inference module capable of up to 200 TOPS, enabling real-time vision processing, environment mapping, and task planning without constant cloud dependence.
Powered by Nvidia Orin, the FF Futurist is a full-size humanoid designed for roles such as hotel concierge, showroom advisor, teaching assistant, theme park brand ambassador, and household helper. It features a customisable facial display with the ability to present 1,000 different faces. The robot uses cameras, 3D LiDAR, and tactile sensors, supports WiFi and 5G, operates in 50 languages, and runs for up to 3 hours with swappable batteries. It is equipped with 28 motors delivering up to 500 Newton-metres of peak torque.
The FF Master is an AI companion humanoid built for home use. It can assist children with homework, hold conversations, monitor homes, and learn new skills over time.
The FX Aegis is a quadruped robot designed for security and outdoor operations. It delivers up to 48 Newton-metres of joint torque, climbs slopes of up to 40 degrees, and overcomes obstacles up to 13 inches. It also offers an optional 4-wheeled variant and supports custom modules such as LiDAR, robotic arms, communication units, and fire extinguishers, along with autonomous patrol and follow-me features.
