A senior finance professional with over 20 years of experience has taken on a key leadership role at Jaypee Infratech Limited. Faiz will lead strategic financial management for large scale real estate projects in Noida, along with the 165 km access controlled Yamuna Expressway.
In his new role, Faiz will oversee financial planning and execution across multi million square foot developments. His career reflects steady, merit based growth within the Jaypee Group, where he has held several finance leadership positions at Jaypee Infratech Limited, Jaypee Sports International Limited, and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. Across these roles, he has managed financial planning, budgeting, taxation, audit processes, risk mitigation, and corporate governance for complex real estate and infrastructure portfolios.
Before his current appointment, Faiz Abidi built a diverse financial leadership profile across JKCement, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Birla Global Asset Finance Co. Ltd. His responsibilities included project finance, plant setup, banking relationships, asset finance, and business banking operations. His experience also spans cross functional coordination and revenue management.
On the academic front, Faiz holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Management with a specialization in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lucknow University. He is currently enhancing his leadership capabilities by pursuing the Chief Finance Officer program at IIM Kolkata. This program is strengthening his ability to align financial strategy with business growth, governance, and operational excellence across capital intensive industries.
