Equity Bank welcomes Laurel Cline as Chief Marketing Officer

Before joining Equity Bank, Laurel served as Director of Marketing at HCI Hospitality, where she managed day-to-day marketing operations, annual planning, brand architecture, messaging, and local store marketing initiatives.

Prior to that, she spent nearly 14 years with Wintrust Financial Corporation, holding multiple leadership roles. These included Vice President – Marketing Sponsorship Activation and Media Planning/Buying, Vice President – Marketing Account Management, Project Management and Print Services, Assistant Vice President – Marketing, Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, and Marketing Assistant. Her tenure reflects consistent growth and strong leadership across banking and financial services marketing.

Earlier in her career, Cline worked with YWCA as a Graphic Design Intern, building a foundation in creative communication and marketing support.

With experience across Equity Bank, HCI Hospitality, Wintrust Financial Corporation, and the YWCA, she brings strong expertise in brand strategy, media planning, sponsorship activation, and growth-focused marketing leadership. Her appointment is expected to support Equity Bank’s continued focus on enhancing brand presence and customer engagement.
