EndureAir Systems Pvt. Ltd., a deep tech startup specialising in aerial robotic solutions, has raised ₹25 crore from the IAN Alpha Fund and the IAN Angel Fund. The funding will be used to scale its indigenous unmanned aerial vehicle platforms, strengthen drone capabilities for defence, expand into enterprise markets, and advance high altitude logistics and aerial robotics solutions.
“EndureAir embodies the very best of India’s deep tech potential. By transforming cutting edge research into powerful, indigenous solutions, EndureAir is meeting critical needs in defence, enterprise and disaster response,” said Sarika Saxena, Managing Partner at IAN Alpha Fund.
Founded in 2018 by Abhishek, professor at IIT Kanpur, along with his former students Rama Krishna and Chirag Jain, EndureAir has become a pioneer in India’s UAV sector. The company holds eight patents and designs both hardware and software in house. Its leading platforms include the Sabal UAV family, capable of carrying payloads between 10 and 70 kilograms, which has already been inducted into the Indian Army’s Eastern Command. Another platform, the Vibhram UAV, was deployed to deliver vaccines under Telangana’s Medicine from the Sky programme. The Alakh series of nano UAVs has been used in major rescue operations, including the Chamoli cloudburst, Silkyara tunnel rescue, and relief missions in Turkey.
“By creating solutions that benefit the Indian armed forces as well as transform how businesses use aerial mobility and logistics, we hope to position India as a global leader in UAV innovation,” said Rama Krishna, Co founder and CEO at EndureAir, highlighting the startup’s global aspirations.
The funding marks a significant step for EndureAir as it works towards strengthening India’s position in the field of unmanned aerial systems, with applications across defence, disaster management, and enterprise markets.
