Dr. Yusuf Hashmi joins Dell Technologies as Chief Cybersecurity Advisor

Dr. Hashmi is a seasoned industry leader with more than 27 years of experience in enterprise security and cyber strategy. He is recognised globally as a Top 100 Cyber Titan and is counted among India’s Top 10 CISOs. 

His background includes leading major security programs in Zero Trust, OT and ICS security, Telecom OSS and BSS, and XDR. At Dell Technologies, Dr. Hashmi works closely with CISOs and senior leaders to help organisations strengthen cyber resilience and adopt scalable security architectures that address evolving global threats.

Before joining Dell Technologies, Dr. Hashmi served as Group CISO at Jubilant Bhartia Group. He developed a cybersecurity transformation roadmap across 13 entities, established the Global Cyber Defense Center, and led key modernisation and cost optimisation initiatives. 

His earlier experience includes leadership positions at Coforge, Tata Teleservices, Indus Towers Limited, Wipro, Colt Technology Services, Kantar, and Aptech. These roles helped him build strong capabilities in cloud security, AI driven compliance, Zero Trust frameworks, and enterprise governance.

Dr. Hashmi’s appointment highlights Dell Technologies commitment to improving cyber resilience and supporting secure hybrid and multi cloud environments across global markets.
