Mr. Mallavarapu brings more than twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with deep expertise in portfolio strategy, complex generics, and business expansion across global markets.
Srinivas returns to Dr. Reddy’s after his recent role at Cipla where he served as Executive Vice President Global Portfolio and Business Development. At Cipla he guided the development of the global product pipeline and led cross functional teams to support growth across complex generics, specialty injectables, and products with high entry barriers in the United States and Canada. His work played a key role in shaping strategic partnerships and strengthening the company’s presence in major international markets.
Before joining Cipla, Srinivas held leadership positions at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories including Senior Director Strategic Portfolio and Business Development and Director US Portfolio Management. During his earlier tenure he contributed to product launch strategies, long term pipeline planning, and collaborations that expanded the company’s reach in leading global markets.
Srinivas began his career at Keane Software Solutions where he built strong analytical and strategic planning skills that later supported his approach to portfolio management and business growth in the pharmaceutical sector. Over the years he has earned a reputation for combining market understanding with strategic foresight to create value across product categories and geographies.
In his new role at Dr. Reddy’s, Srinivas will focus on advancing the company’s North America business while strengthening its global portfolio strategy. He will work on driving innovation, enhancing strategic partnerships, and supporting the company’s goal of sustainable growth in generics and specialty segments.
