Before this role, Dr Rajiv served at Larsen & Toubro as Head – Business Excellence & Digital Learning, Corporate HR, Learning & Development for 10 years. Prior to that, he held positions as Head – IT Application & Knowledge Management for GCC Operations and earlier as Deputy General Manager, Knowledge Management & IT. His career progression within L&T highlights a strong leadership journey across learning, digital systems, HR excellence, IT applications, and organisational capability building.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Tata Steel as Manager – Improvement Group, where he contributed to knowledge management and process improvement initiatives. His experience across Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel reflects a long and accomplished career focused on digital learning, business excellence, knowledge management, process improvement, and organisational transformation.
Academically, Dr Rajiv Sinha holds a PhD in Knowledge Management from Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering & Management from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His academic background complements his professional journey shaped by leadership in learning, digital transformation, and improvement excellence.
With experience spanning HR digital transformation, LMS and LXP initiatives, digital academies, business excellence, and knowledge management, he brings a well-rounded leadership profile to his new role. His appointment is expected to support Larsen & Toubro in strengthening its HR digital agenda and organisational capability development.
