In his expanded position, Sheth will continue to shape financial strategy and fund operations. He previously served as Fund Controller at Prime Venture Partners, where he led financial oversight and managed fund operations for the early-stage investment firm. His elevation highlights his contribution to strengthening internal financial frameworks and supporting portfolio growth across the venture ecosystem.
Reflecting on his professional journey, Sheth has noted how his career evolved from handling complex M&A structures during his early consulting years to leading finance at a venture capital fund. He has emphasised that finance in the VC ecosystem acts as a strategic lever for scale and innovation, rather than functioning only as a traditional back-office role.
Before joining Prime Venture Partners, Sheth was Vice President at India Quotient. In that role, he contributed to both investment and financial leadership within the startup ecosystem.
Earlier, Sheth spent over 6 years at EY in multiple senior roles across international tax, transaction tax, and transfer pricing. During this period, he advised on complex cross-border transactions and M&A structures, building strong expertise in global financial frameworks.
Sheth began his career at DH Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in the direct taxation domain. This early experience helped him build a strong technical base in finance and compliance, which continues to shape his strategic approach in venture capital finance.
