Delta Electronics India Unveils Smart Manufacturing Innovations at SEMICON India 2025

Delta Electronics India unveiled a series of groundbreaking manufacturing innovations at SEMICON India 2025, inaugurated in the capital by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The company introduced advanced collaborative robots, a state-of-the-art digital twin platform, a new screwdriving system, and integrated semiconductor assembly solutions, all built on a smart manufacturing architecture.

Highlighting the nation’s rapidly advancing technology sector, Prime Minister Modi said, “Semiconductor factories are coming up in India, and the country will see its first domestically made chip in the market by the end of 2025.” He also spoke about the swift progress towards a “Made in India” 6G network, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in digital capabilities.

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, expressed his pride in the company’s role in this transformation. “India is at the cusp of a semiconductor and electronics revolution, and Delta is proud to contribute to this transformation with future-ready technologies,” he said.

Delta’s collaborative robots stand out with payload capacities ranging from six to 30 kilograms and advanced safety features, including instant stoppage on contact. They also incorporate AI-enabled interaction to boost productivity without compromising safety. The DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform was another highlight, offering a 20 per cent reduction in new product development time by allowing simulation with real production data and speeding up innovation cycles.

The company also showcased energy management solutions and facility monitoring systems, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and reliability. Delta proudly adopted the SEMI E187 cybersecurity certification for semiconductor equipment, underscoring its commitment to security standards.

Managing Director Niranjan Nayak said, “Through investments in robotics, digital twins and green technologies, we are ensuring that India’s manufacturing ecosystem is competitive and resilient.” Following the launch of their D-Bot Series earlier this year at ELECRAMA 2025, these new innovations strengthen Delta’s position as a major contributor to India’s emergence as a global semiconductor powerhouse.
