This appointment reflects Deepak’s strong progression within the organization and the trust placed in his leadership to shape global capabilities and strategic direction in India.
Before this role, Deepak Gupta served as Deputy Head – TIAA Global Capabilities and Head of Technology & Business Shared Services. He has also held several senior leadership positions at TIAA, including Senior Managing Director, Head of Enterprise Shared Services Technology; Managing Director – Enterprise Technology Functions (Cloud, Cyber, Corp Tech, Data, Infrastructure); and Managing Director – Cloud, Cyber and Infrastructure at TIAA India. These roles highlight his deep expertise across enterprise technology, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and shared services.
Earlier, he spent more than 13 years at Fidelity Investments, where he held multiple leadership roles. These included Head of Cloud and Enterprise Technology Group Innovation (India), Senior Director – Head of Cloud & Platform Hosting India, Director – Head of Cloud & Platform Hosting, Director Product Management, IT Delivery Head (India) – Compliance, Legal, Risk and Security, IT Delivery Head (India) – Finance, Procurement and Accounting, Program Manager, and Project Lead.
Prior to that, he worked with GE as Production Support Lead and with CMC Ltd as Project Lead (Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems), building a strong foundation in technology delivery and enterprise operations.
Academically, he holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, graduating with distinction.
With experience across TIAA, Fidelity Investments, GE, and CMC Ltd, Deepak Gupta brings a well-rounded leadership profile. His appointment is expected to support TIAA’s continued focus on innovation, global capabilities, and long-term organizational strength.
