Mayfield Childcare Limited (ASX: MFD) has announced the appointment of Daniel Stone as its new CEO, effective April 8, 2025. Stone will succeed Ashok Naveinthiran, who will retire on March 10, 2025.
Stone brings a wealth of experience from the childcare sector, having most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at TheirCare Pty Ltd. During his time there, he played a key role in driving growth and improving operations. At Mayfield, Stone is focused on enhancing the quality of care provided to families while ensuring the business continues to grow and run efficiently. Mayfield operates 45 long day care centers across Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia, serving over 3,600 families.
Mayfield’s Chair, Roseanne Healy, expressed confidence in Stone’s ability to lead the company, highlighting his success in fostering growth and operational improvements. She also recognized the valuable contributions of Naveinthiran during his tenure.
Stone’s appointment aligns with Mayfield’s goal of offering exceptional care experiences for children, families, and staff. He will work closely with the management team to cultivate a creative and supportive environment that will guide the company’s future success.
