Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas supports McDonald’s in setting up Hyderabad global capability centre

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised McDonald’s on the establishment of its global capability centre in Hyderabad, Telangana. The new facility is the company’s largest office outside the United States and will function as a key hub for business operations, technology, analytics, and artificial intelligence.

The centre is expected to play an important role in advancing McDonald’s global innovation plans, improving enterprise processes, and creating high value opportunities as the company expands its presence in the global quick service restaurant industry.

The transaction was led by partner Bharath Reddy and his team, who advised on corporate, foreign exchange, contracts, and related matters. Partner and co head of digital TMT Arun Prabhu and partner Lakshmi Rajagopalan, along with their teams, handled the technology and intellectual property law aspects of the transaction.

Partner Abe Abraham and his team provided guidance on employment related matters. Partner and head of taxation SR Patnaik, along with his team, advised on all taxation related aspects.

Partners Emil Joseph and Jaideep Kodali, along with their team, advised on real estate matters linked to the project. Partner and head of insurance Indranath Bishnu and his team guided McDonald’s on insurance related issues. Partner Lakshmi Prakash and her team supported the transaction on projects and finance related aspects.

This development marks a significant step in McDonald’s global expansion strategy, with the Hyderabad centre set to become a major contributor to its worldwide operations.
