In a story where illusion meets intention, a major cyber fraud racket has come to light with the arrest of Hiralba Jadeja, wife of ex-legislator Bhura Munja Jadeja, and her associates Naitik Mavani, Sachin Mehta, and Hitesh Odedra. This group now stands accused of crafting a vast cyber scam that extended across states and involved the misuse of personal identities for unlawful financial gain.
The Junagadh Range Cyber Police lodged a formal complaint on May 30, sparked by an FIR filed by Sub-Inspector HJ Barad. According to authorities, the accused created shell firms named Arham Commodity, Vithal Plus Commodity, and Bharat Enterprise using stolen identities. These fake companies served as the scaffolding for opening 22 bank accounts, which became conduits for laundering nearly ₹3.96 crore gathered through deceit.
What appeared as business proposals were in fact calculated moves. Hiralba allegedly approached unsuspecting individuals, convincing them to hand over their personal documents. Her accomplices then forged papers, executed rental contracts, and established bank accounts without the knowledge or consent of the victims. Blank cheques and RTGS forms were also collected, paving the way for unauthorized money transfers.
As investigators pulled at the threads of this operation, they uncovered its staggering scale: links to 83 cyber fraud cases reported across 18 states, including Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Each connection was another knot in a web spun with precision, exploiting cracks in digital security and human trust alike.
This cyber saga is more than a police case—it reflects a growing digital underworld where stolen identities are traded like currency and fake enterprises breathe life into financial trickery. As authorities peel back layers of deception, they work not just to catch culprits, but to protect the digital heartbeat of a nation.
