AWS to power advanced generative AI use cases across a diverse range of products
As part of its mission to become a truly AI-driven organization, Comviva , a global leader in customer experience and data monetization solutions, today announced a major milestone in its AI-driven transformation and SaaS journey through an established partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). As part of its AI-driven vision, Comviva is leveraging AWS’s expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to implement advanced AI and GenAI use cases across its product suite, including Ngage-CNPaaS, API Marketplace, MobiLytix, BlueMarble, and mobiquity for predictive insights.
AWS solutions provide Comviva with the flexibility to roll out new features and updates faster, ensuring its customers benefit from innovations without delay. AWS’s robust infrastructure helps improve system reliability and availability, minimizes downtime, and ensures a seamless user experience. Additionally, AWS’s scalability allows Comviva to efficiently manage peak demand, delivering consistent performance during periods of high traffic. This allows Comviva to support a larger user base without compromising service quality.
Comviva is accelerating the SaaSification of its offerings with AWS, seamlessly transferring multiple intellectual properties (IPs) in parallel. This strategic shift aims to enhance scalability, flexibility, speed to market, and deployments.
The partnership with AWS marks a crucial milestone in Comviva’s Growth 2.0 strategy, which aims to drive exponential growth for its customers and provide them with a competitive advantage. Building on this collaboration, Comviva and AWS are now accelerating the implementation of their joint efforts, aligning their vision of cutting-edge innovation and operational excellence.
VG Sundar Ram, Head of Business Development, AWS India and South Asia , said , “As Comviva accelerates its AI-driven transformation, we are excited to be a key player in its journey. Since the beginning of our collaboration, AWS has helped Comviva integrate AI across its product portfolio and advance its SaaS strategy, positioning the company for sustainable growth and market leadership. By leveraging AWS’s advanced AI and machine learning capabilities, Comviva is redefining operational efficiency and customer engagement at scale.”
As part of the Comviva 2.0 execution plan, which aims to leverage the power of AI in products, innovation and R&D, efficiency, productivity improvements, and AI-enabled security, Comviva is well on its way to transforming its operations, with the goal of accelerating time to market, optimizing processes, improving productivity, and strengthening security measures. With the integration of AI in products, Comviva’s AI assistants are already improving the operational efficiency of support tickets by about 20% to start with, with a resolution accuracy target of reaching 90%. In addition, productivity improvements enabled by AI are already increasing the productivity of developers and the testing community by over 20%. In the security domain, AI is expected to power 50% of Comviva’s processes and achieve over 80% accuracy in threat detection and prediction. This strategic and focused AI roadmap is poised to drive product differentiation and operational excellence, and deliver exceptional value to customers and end consumers, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
Rajesh Chandiramani, Managing Director, Comviva, added, “At Comviva, we are fully embracing AI as a cornerstone of our transformation to deliver unparalleled customer experience and drive sustainable growth. By integrating it across our products and operations, we are not only future-proofing our solutions but also enabling our customers to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Our collaboration with AWS has been instrumental in accelerating this transition, and we look forward to continuing to innovate together as we expand our presence in new global markets.”
A key milestone in the collaboration is BlueMarble Intelligence , which improves revenue predictability, simplifies operations, and accelerates growth through AI-powered automation. Its Business Rules Intelligence functionality reduces manual work by 90% by transforming natural inputs into technical rules, while its Order Management Intelligence functionality autonomously reduces disruptions by 80% and resolves errors in just minutes.
Comviva is also working with AWS to enhance its real-time marketing platform, MobiLytix™ , with two generative AI master agents: the Generative AI Analytics Agent for actionable insights and the Generative AI Campaign Agent for faster campaign setup.
Comviva uses multiple AWS services such as Amazon EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, S3, Amazon Q, and Amazon Bedrock to deliver value to its customers by ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness. These services have enabled Comviva to build a resilient architecture, ensuring high availability and performance. AI services such as Amazon Q and Amazon Bedrock have been particularly transformative thanks to sophisticated data analytics and powerful machine learning capabilities.
