Cognizant, an IT leader, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Sailaja Josyula as the Global Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) Service Line.
Located in Hyderabad, she will be responsible for defining and implementing Cognizant’s global GCC strategy and will lead a cross-functional team, according to a company statement.
“With her vast experience and established success, Sailaja’s leadership will enhance our capacity to develop and expand GCCs, providing significant value to our clients,” stated Surya Gummadi, President of Americas at Cognizant.
Josyula returns to Cognizant after a short period at EY. From 2018 to 2024, she held various leadership positions at Cognizant, including the Hyderabad Center Head and Global Head of BFSI Operations Delivery.
With nearly three decades of experience, she has also served in leadership roles at Thomson Reuters and HSBC.
