Cloudera Integrates Dell ObjectScale to Launch Private AI Platform for Enterprises

Cloudera, a leading provider of data and AI solutions, has announced the integration of Dell ObjectScale with its platform, enhancing their AI-in-a-Box offering and creating a robust Private AI system for enterprises.

The collaboration enables joint customers to run all of Cloudera’s compute engines directly against Dell ObjectScale storage, offering a fully validated and integrated data platform. This solution is designed to simplify AI deployment, improve governance, and provide predictable economics for enterprises.

A recent Cloudera survey, The Evolution of AI: The State of Enterprise AI and Data Architecture, revealed that enterprises continue to rely on multiple storage architectures, including private cloud (63%), public cloud (52%), and data warehouses (42%). This fragmentation makes it challenging to securely access and manage all enterprise data, a critical requirement for scaling AI workloads and making strategic decisions.

The new Private AI platform addresses these challenges by consolidating structured and unstructured data in one location, enabling fast and secure access. Key components include:

  • Cloudera AI Workbench: A secure environment for building, training, and refining AI models with governed data
  • Cloudera Inference Service: Efficient deployment and use of AI models at scale
  • Cloudera Agent Studio: Tools to design AI agents for automating business operations

The integration combines Dell Technologies’ leadership in AI infrastructure with Cloudera’s secure data platform, delivering a complete Private AI system. Enterprises can start using AI faster, reduce costs, and deploy trusted AI solutions, particularly benefiting highly regulated industries.

“Businesses need AI systems that grow with them, keep data secure, and have predictable costs,” said Abhas Ricky, Chief Strategy Officer, Cloudera. “Integrating Dell ObjectScale with Cloudera allows organizations to industrialize AI use cases, deploy them efficiently, and create intelligent agents, all with clear economics.”

Travis Vigil, Senior Vice President of ISG Product Management at Dell Technologies, added, “This collaboration empowers customers to bring storage and AI closer together, enabling smarter and faster decision-making that drives business growth.”
