In this strategic role, Chandrasekar will lead the flagship automotive business under the Amaron brand. He will focus on growth, customer centred innovation, and operational excellence with complete P and L ownership.
He brings more than twenty years of leadership experience from organisations including Hero MotoCorp, Emaar Group, Coca Cola, Nestlé, Bharti airtel, Marico, and Britannia Industries Limited. His strong blend of strategic insight, marketing skills, and transformation leadership supports Amara Raja’s future expansion.
Before joining Amara Raja, Chandrasekar served as Head of Business Growth (Emerging Mobility) at Hero MotoCorp. He led global brand strategy, sales, and digital initiatives. His earlier roles at Coca Cola India and Nestlé India saw him lead data driven transformation. He helped create the Knowledge Hub analytics platform and contributed to the turnaround of MAGGI. He also guided Nestlé’s digital and eCommerce growth.
Chandrasekar has received recognition including Marketing Mastermind by the World Consulting and Research Corporation and Champion of Excellence by The Ad Club and Advertising Association of India.
Chandrasekar’s appointment shows Amara Raja Group’s commitment to supporting leaders focused on innovation, sustainability, and long term value creation.
