Caledonia Mining (CMCL) has revealed that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chester Goodburn, will step down from his position on March 24, 2025, following the publication of the company’s financial results for the year ending December 31, 2024. Goodburn, who has served as CFO since July 1, 2022, will be succeeded by Ross Jerrard, pending standard checks.
To ensure a smooth transition, Goodburn will remain with the company in a consultancy role for a short period. Jerrard comes to Caledonia with a wealth of financial leadership experience, having previously served as CFO of Centamin from April 2016 until its acquisition in November 2024 for a deal worth $2.5 billion.
This change marks an important step for Caledonia Mining as the company continues to focus on growth and operational excellence under Jerrard’s leadership.
