Eric Sequeira has taken on a new role as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at BlackRock, one of the world’s largest asset management firms. His appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its global hiring strategies and building strong leadership pipelines, especially across its India operations and international markets.
In his new role, Sequeira will lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives, strengthen employer branding efforts, and work closely with business leaders to build a future ready workforce. His responsibilities will include improving candidate experiences, using data driven hiring practices, and enhancing BlackRock’s reputation as an employer of choice in highly competitive financial and technology talent markets.
Before joining BlackRock, Sequeira spent nearly seven years at Experian India, where he held several leadership positions in talent acquisition. Most recently, he served as Head of Talent Acquisition India and Employer Brand Lead for EMEA and APAC. During this time, he guided hiring strategies across multiple regions and played a key role in strengthening the company’s global employer value proposition. Under his leadership, Experian India earned recognition as a Great Place to Work and was ranked among the world’s best workplaces.
Earlier at Experian, he progressed through roles such as Talent Acquisition Partner, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, and Head of Talent Acquisition. He managed large scale hiring across technology, analytics, and business functions, built strong recruitment teams, and promoted diversity and inclusion initiatives that improved hiring outcomes.
Before Experian, Sequeira worked as Principal Consultant at WhiteCrow Research Pvt Ltd. He also held roles at ANR Consulting Group, Value Consulting, and Husys Consulting Pvt Ltd, gaining experience in global recruitment, HR operations, and end to end hiring across the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.
An MBA in Human Resources from ITM Group of Institutions, Sequeira brings over a decade of experience in employer branding, global hiring strategy, and talent operations.
