In his new role, he will lead the company’s international business strategy with a strong focus on emerging markets and Europe. The move aims to expand Mankind Pharma’s global footprint and strengthen its market presence outside India.
Sethi brings over 20 years of experience in global pharmaceutical business development, strategic partnerships, and emerging markets. Before this elevation, he served as President – International Business (Emerging Markets & Europe) at Mankind Pharma Ltd., where he played a key role in driving overseas expansion.
Earlier in his career, he spent several years at Cipla in senior leadership roles. These included Senior Vice President – Emerging Market B2B, Vice President and Regional Head – Emerging Market B2B for MENA, LATAM, and APAC, and Regional Head for Latin America, Africa, Russia, CIS, and Global Oncology. His work at Cipla focused on building international operations and expanding business across multiple geographies.
He has also held senior roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd., and Promed Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Sentiss Pharma Pvt. Ltd.). Across these organisations, he contributed to global expansion strategies, market entry plans, and international business growth.
At Mankind Pharma, his elevation reflects the company’s focus on strengthening leadership for overseas markets. The company is targeting long-term growth through deeper presence in emerging regions and stronger positioning in Europe.
With this role change, Mankind Pharma aims to build a more robust global business structure and accelerate its international strategy across key markets.
