AVPL International, a Gurugram-based drone technology startup, has successfully established 30 Aero Vision Labs across 13 Indian states and union territories. This significant initiative is a collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and marks a crucial step in enhancing technical education and practical drone training nationwide.
The establishment of these labs is part of AVPL International’s broader vision to set up 50 such facilities across India. The primary objective is to provide students and faculty with hands-on experience in drone operations and diagnostics, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in emerging technologies.
AVPL International has invested up to ₹50 lakh in each lab, ensuring that they are equipped with comprehensive infrastructure. Each Aero Vision Lab features AVPL’s indigenous Viraj agriculture drone, advanced flight simulators, telemetry systems, and essential diagnostic tools, providing a complete ecosystem for drone-related learning and development.
“This collaboration with AICTE is a testament to our commitment to fostering a skilled workforce in drone technology,” stated a representative from AVPL International. “By providing state-of-the-art labs and practical training, we aim to empower the next generation of engineers and innovators to drive advancements in this critical sector.”
This initiative is expected to play a vital role in preparing India’s youth for the rapidly evolving drone industry, contributing to technological self-reliance and creating new opportunities in various sectors, including agriculture, logistics, and surveillance.
