Navodaya Education Trust has strengthened its leadership with the appointment of Ashutosh Pathak as its new Chief Technology Officer, highlighting the growing push of traditional education trusts towards building strong and future ready digital learning ecosystems.
Ashutosh has moved from Manipal Global Education Services, where he served as Head of Technology and led the full stack development of the organisation’s flagship digital learning platform. His transition reflects a larger shift in the education sector as institutions actively invest in senior digital talent to create scalable and integrated learning environments.
A design thinker and technology led problem solver, Ashutosh brings over a decade of experience in leading technology driven businesses. His career spans global technology firms such as Sonata Software, Oracle, Cognizant and Vodafone Global, as well as startups including L earnapp and Toprankers. These roles helped him build strong expertise in software engineering, digital transformation and strategic IT leadership.
At Sonata Software, he led global cloud product offerings and go to market efforts for AWS and Snowflake. As Co Founder and CTO of L earnapp, he built an enterprise grade microservices based architecture that was auto scalable, secure and highly available, with automated CI CD pipelines and multi payment support. The product ran on MERN stack and React Native, was hosted on the AWS cloud and was accessible on both web and mobile platforms. He also led the complete full stack engineering and marketing technology teams, managed a seed stage IT investment of 1 crore, delivered the MVP in under three months and achieved strong early traction with 58 percent of visitors converting into paid users on the first day of launch.
Over the course of building the product, he worked on more than 5000 use cases, wrote over 2000 user stories and maintained a high delivery rate across multiple sprints while keeping costs low.
His appointment marks an important step for Navodaya Education Trust as it accelerates its journey towards a technology led and future focused education ecosystem.
