Amid rising cybersecurity challenges, Arctic Wolf is strengthening its presence in India by building teams focused on long-term capability and ownership. The US-based firm is expanding its India centre to support global security platforms, with a clear focus on sustainable growth rather than short-term delivery.
The company’s hiring strategy is designed to identify talent that can think beyond immediate projects. “Our hiring mandates are driven by the need to build core, long-term capabilities for the business rather than staffing for short-term delivery. We prioritise people who can think in terms of systems, scale and long-term evolution, because the work our teams do continues to grow and mature well beyond a single project or milestone,” said Kristin Dean.
This approach has shaped the company’s rapid expansion in India. Within 1 year, Arctic Wolf grew its workforce from around 75 employees to more than 300, exceeding initial expectations. The centre has attracted senior leaders, built a strong pipeline of early-career professionals through internships and created a work culture focused on collaboration and innovation across global teams.
“Our hiring strategy reflects a long-term perspective, with a strong emphasis on learning agility, depth of thinking and the ability to grow with the organisation. This mindset directly influences both how roles are designed and how we evaluate talent,” Dean added. The company also prioritises stability, career growth and employee well-being, offering flexible time off and running a dedicated Employee Resource Group to support mental health initiatives. This strategy positions the India centre as a key hub shaping global operations.
