Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has announced that its chief human resources officer, Archana Bhaskar, will step down from her role on 30 November 2025. The company confirmed the leadership change in a stock exchange filing, noting that she will also cease to be part of the senior management team.
Bhaskar joined Dr Reddy’s in 2017 and since then has overseen both human resources and corporate communications. Over the past eight years, she has played a central role in shaping the organisation’s people strategy, driving cultural transformation, and strengthening leadership development across the company.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Bhaskar has worked with some of the world’s largest organisations. Before joining Dr Reddy’s, she spent over ten years at Shell, where she served as vice president of human resources for Global Commercial, overseeing lubricants, aviation fuels, and specialities businesses across multiple geographies. She began her career at Unilever, working for over 14 years in a series of leadership roles across India and Europe.
Industry peers credit Bhaskar for championing inclusive workplace practices and for aligning human resources with evolving business priorities. She is an alumna of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, and also holds a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
Bhaskar exit marks a significant leadership transition at Dr Reddy’s as the pharmaceutical company continues to strengthen its global presence. The company has not yet announced her successor.
