Apple has widened its AppleCare plus coverage in India by introducing monthly and annual plans along with the addition of theft and loss protection for iPhone users for the first time. The company said these new options are designed to offer more flexibility and long term support for customers.
The monthly and annual AppleCare plus plans allow users to continue coverage for as long as they need. Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, said “AppleCare gives our customers peace of mind knowing that their products are protected and supported by Apple experts. With today’s updates in India, we’re making it easier and more affordable to get trusted protection, including access to our most complete coverage for iPhone.”
AppleCare plus with Theft and Loss for iPhone includes up to two cases of theft or loss every year. It also provides all the standard AppleCare plus benefits such as battery replacement, around the clock priority support and unlimited repairs for accidental damage. Prices begin at seven hundred ninety nine rupees.
Users can view the available AppleCare plus plans directly in the Settings app on eligible devices and coverage starts immediately once activated. Apple said the expansion aims to offer improved protection and convenience for customers across India.
