The move marks a key leadership step as the group accelerates its electric vehicle ambitions and expands its charging ecosystem.
In his new role, Kachhara will be responsible for driving strategy and execution for EV charging infrastructure, supporting Mahindra Group’s broader electric mobility roadmap and long-term sustainability goals.
Before this appointment, Kachhara served as Vice President – Strategy at Mahindra Group. In that role, he worked closely on corporate strategy, transformation initiatives, and growth priorities across the group’s diverse businesses.
Kachhara brings strong consulting and transformation experience to his new position. Earlier in his career, he worked with Bain & Company and PwC, where he advised organisations on strategy, operations, and large-scale change programmes across sectors.
Kachhara also began his professional journey at IBM India, gaining early exposure to technology-driven projects and enterprise-scale operations. This combination of strategy consulting, technology experience, and group-level leadership provides him with a well-rounded perspective as Mahindra Group scales its EV charging infrastructure.
With this leadership transition, Mahindra Group continues to strengthen its capabilities in building a robust and future-ready electric mobility ecosystem.
