Indian stock brokerage firm Angel One has appointed Ambarish Kenghe as its Group Chief Executive Officer. This announcement follows his earlier appointment notification sent to the stock exchanges on January 13, 2025.
Ambarish Kenghe’s background is impressive. He has a notable career in FinTech, e-commerce, and consumer electronics, bringing significant expertise in product innovation, digital transformation, and scaling businesses. Before joining Angel One, he was Vice President and General Manager at Google Pay APAC, where he played a key role in expanding Google Pay’s presence and enhancing the UPI ecosystem in India. He also contributed to the launch of Chromecast and the development of Google TV.
Prior to his time at Google, Ambarish was the Chief Product Officer at Myntra, where he led AI/ML-driven innovations that transformed the fashion e-commerce landscape. His career also includes strategy consulting at Bain & Company in San Francisco and engineering high-speed switching technologies at Cisco Systems in San Jose.
Ambarish holds four patents and has a solid academic background, including an MBA from UC Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from AMU.
In his role as Group CEO, Ambarish will concentrate on propelling Angel One’s growth, fostering product and technology innovation, and improving customer experiences within the dynamic FinTech landscape.
