Icertis, a global provider of contract lifecycle management software, has announced the appointment of Anand Subbaraman as its new Chief Executive Officer. The company’s co-founder and outgoing CEO, Samir Bodas, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman.
Bodas, who has served as CEO for 15 years, steered Icertis from its early startup stage to becoming a leading name in enterprise software, achieving close to 350 million US dollars in annual recurring revenue. He was instrumental in positioning contracts as a central element in digital transformation strategies and forging strong alliances with major cloud providers and systems integrators. In his new role, he will continue to work closely with the leadership team, focusing on long-term strategy and governance.
Subbaraman joined Icertis in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer and brought with him more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology. He has previously held leadership positions at Oracle, BrowserStack, and Finastra. As COO, he managed core business operations and played a key role in advancing the company’s adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities.
As the new CEO, Subbaraman will lead efforts to expand Icertis’ AI-powered solutions and strengthen the role of contracts as vital business data assets.
Reflecting on the transition, Bodas said, “Over the last 15 years, we have built category-defining products to help our customers derive exceptional value by transforming their end-to-end contracting the foundation of all commerce. As I focus on my health, the time is right for Subbaraman to step into the CEO role and take Icertis to the next level. I look forward to partnering closely with him as we continue to launch breakthrough innovations.”
Commenting on his new role, Subbaraman said, “Enterprise technology sits at a critical inflection point, and Icertis continues to deliver unique and differentiated contact intelligence through our vast data assets, contract-specific AI, agents and co-pilots, and our Contract Intelligence platform to create fast, measurable ROI for customers.”
Subbaraman holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Electronics and Computers from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
