Amitabh Kumar Singh joins IndusInd Bank as Chief Human Resources Officer

Singh brings with him more than 28 years of extensive experience in human resources across the banking, financial services, and technology sectors. He has been associated with the ICICI Group for over two decades, holding leadership roles across multiple entities. Most recently, he served as CHRO at ICICI Home Finance, where he led strategic initiatives in people development, organisational transformation, and leadership capability building.

Before this role, Singh spent 11 years with ICICI Bank and eight years with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where he focused on driving HR excellence, strengthening performance management systems, and fostering cultural integration across diverse teams.

Singh began his career in 1997 with Larsen and Toubro as a human resources manager. He has also worked with leading organisations such as Atos, Tata Interactive Systems, and Mphasis, gaining valuable experience in managing talent and shaping people strategies.

A postgraduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Singh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.

His appointment reflects IndusInd Bank’s continued focus on its people-first approach, aimed at nurturing a high-performance culture and advancing leadership development and talent engagement strategies. The bank believes Singh’s deep industry expertise and people-centric vision will play a vital role in driving sustainable growth and strengthening its organisational capabilities.
