In his new role, Amit will focus on driving large scale product innovation, platform modernisation and strategic growth initiatives that support the firm’s global digital banking and payments ecosystem.
Amit brings nearly 20 years of experience across product management, engineering and digital platforms, with leadership exposure spanning fintech, payments and cybersecurity on a global scale.
Before joining JPMorganChase, he spent close to 8 years at Mastercard. Most recently, he served as Director of Product Management, where he led product vision, go to market strategy and global payment platform innovation initiatives. During this period, he played a key role in shaping next generation payment solutions and scaling platforms across multiple markets.
Earlier at Mastercard, Amit held roles such as Product Manager for Gateway and Manager for Product Management in the Asia Pacific region. In these positions, he worked on cross border payments, digital gateway development and platform modernisation programs across regional and global markets.
Earlier in his career, Amit built strong technology and product leadership credentials across several global organisations. His experience includes key roles at Gemalto, now part of Thales Cyber and Digital, STMicroelectronics, Samsung Electronics, Adobe, Hughes Systique Corporation and Atos. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in digital platforms, cybersecurity, embedded technologies and enterprise software.
His appointment reflects JPMorganChase’s continued focus on strengthening its digital platforms and accelerating innovation across its global banking and payments businesses.
