Before joining Wpromote, Amir was the Chief Financial Officer at BlueNalu, a cell-cultured seafood company, where he successfully managed significant capital needs and led fundraising strategies that culminated in raising $60 million in convertible debt. His strategic oversight included negotiating equipment purchases and partnering with key leaders across engineering, operations, and regulatory departments to ensure adequate funding for technology development in sustainable seafood products.
Prior to his tenure at BlueNalu, Amir served as the Chief Financial Officer at Droga5, part of Accenture Interactive, where he played a pivotal role in the negotiation and sale of the agency to Accenture. His efforts were integral in building a global finance organization and establishing operational workflows that significantly enhanced profitability and managed cash flows across multiple business units. His strategic acumen was crucial in fostering relationships with major clients including Google, Facebook, and American Express.
Amir’s extensive background also includes leadership roles at notable organizations such as Interpublic Group, where he was VP, Director of Finance at Draft FCB, and WPP, serving as Managing Director of Finance at Mindshare. These roles underscored his expertise in overseeing financial operations, contract negotiations, and compliance across
