Alter Domus Welcomes Charlotte Hogg as New CEO to Drive Strategic Innovation

Wishing Ms.Charlotte Hogg greater responsibilities and exciting challenges in this impressive new chapter!

She takes over from Doug Hart, who will continue to serve in an advisory role as vice-chair of debt capital markets.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, Hogg comes from Visa, where she held the position of CEO for Europe.

Before that, she was the chief operating officer at the Bank of England and led retail distribution and intermediaries at Santander UK.

She comments: “Alter Domus’ leaders have met that challenge and have established a strong and resilient platform. The opportunity now is to build on that. Alter Domus’ commitment to delivering technological innovation, outstanding client experience and private markets know-how will make the business an invaluable partner for asset managers as they continue to scale and expand their offerings.”

Hogg’s appointment comes after Mark Wiseman, the former global head of BlackRock’s active equities division and chairman of BlackRock’s alternatives business, was named chairman of Alter Domus.

Wiseman says: “The depth of Hogg’s experience in financial services across both sides of the Atlantic will enable her to play a transformative role and galvanise our teams globally — we’re delighted to have her on board.”
