Akash Shukla has been promoted to Chief Manager – Information System at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). With over 14 years of extensive experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, Akash will now lead BPCL’s information systems strategy from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Throughout his tenure at BPCL, Akash has been instrumental in the successful implementation of key digital and cybersecurity initiatives. His contributions include deploying advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (IP21, Oil Accounting & Planning), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and robust cybersecurity frameworks like IDS/IPS-aware firewall policies and SIEM systems. He has also led projects on smart device integration, RPA, IoT, and plant-wide wireless infrastructure.

In his previous roles, Akash has consistently driven technology-led innovations, such as live-stream-enabled remote monitoring solutions and AI-powered IT operations. His collaborative approach and strong leadership have ensured successful project execution aligned with BPCL’s long-term digital vision.
