Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has announced the appointment of Ajit Pratap Singh as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), effective from March 24, 2025.
Singh brings with him extensive experience and qualifications. He holds a B.Sc. and LLB from Kanpur University, an M.Sc. in Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Strategic Management qualification from IIM Kashipur. Additionally, he is a certified management accountant and an active member of several professional organizations.
Before joining SWREL, Singh held leadership roles at companies including Transrail Lighting, OPG Power Generation, Vedanta Aluminium, and JSW Bengal Steel, where he built his expertise in finance and corporate management.
In line with this transition, Sandeep Mathew, who has been serving as the interim CFO, will step down from his position at the close of business on March 23, 2025. However, Mathew will continue to contribute to the company in his role as the Head of Investor Relations.
